Preservation in Practice event; ‘Permaculture in Practice: Historic Landscapes & Lawns’

Tuesday, May 28th
Manor Mill, 2029 Monkton Road, Monkton

In partnership with Manor Mill, please join Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County for our monthly Preservation in Practice series. Our next event is ‘Permaculture in Practice: Historic Landscapes & Lawns.’

5:30pm – Membership meeting – All Welcome
6:00pm – Free Presentation – Hummus, cheese, crackers, rye bread, and organic rainbow carrots & organic rainbow MULLBERRIES will be served!

What is old is new again. Please join Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County, with our partner Manor Mill in Monkton, to learn about the history of landscape design and land use, and how newer ecologically sound trends, like Permaculture, alternative lawns and mow schemes, meadows, hedgerow renewal, and re-wilding, have their beginnings and ancestry in historic of ways of working with nature, rather than against it.

Special thanks to Hayles & Howe, Ornamental Plasterers, who are our Preservation in Practice series sponsors.

Please register, though walk-ins are welcome too. Click the button!
