We are very thankful to our speaker Ed Papenfuse, former Maryland Archivist.
We are grateful, as always, to have Nancy Goldring attend. The Adelaide Bentley Community Preservationist Award, named after Ms. Goldring’s grandmother, was given to John Billy, who, along with his beloved wife Shirley, were involved in a Maryland interracial Marriage Civil Rights
case. His greenery surrounded home is a time-capsule and showcase of the era.
A big thank to Betsy Mitchell and Hope Metzler for helping organize, and Manor Mill in Monkton for hosting.
