Nancy Goldring & Betty Stewart
A big thank you to all of our preservation colleagues who attended Preservation Alliance’s Annual meeting.
Our Preservation award honorees included Betty Stewart, right, for her good work and dedication in the restoration of the oldest historically African-American church in Baltimore County, Mount Gilboa of Oella.
We are grateful, as always, to Nancy Goldring, left, for attending and presenting Ms. Stewart with the Adelaide Bentley Community Preservationist Award, named after Ms. Goldring’s grandmother.
Another awardee is Brough Schamp, who has helped us create a series of videos on historic
trees in Baltimore County, here is a link to one about Tulip Poplars.
Great thanks to Manor Mill in Monkton for hosting.
