Historic Preservation Easements & Permits

Conservation land easements have been a popular way to preserve important environmentally sensitive and agricultural land in perpetually, but did you know that having an historic preservation easement on a building is one of the best ways to permanently protect and preserve our historic built heritage, and often receive a tax break as well? Please join us to learn more about how historic preservation easements can work for you and the buildings you treasure, along with how this, and the permit process work.

Our presenter will be Katherine Good of Michael Graves Architects. She is an historic preservation architect, who has vast experienced with a broad range of work with local, state, and federal preservation agencies, including easements, tax credits, Section106, and the Department of Energy. Ms. Good is also a member of the Baltimore City Historic Preservation Commission.
