Part of Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County’s Annual Preservation Friends Gathering, held this year at historic Manor Mill in Monkton, included recognizing and honoring the hard work and dedication of local advocates to preserve our county’s’ diverse and unique historic buildings and landscape heritage.

Our first annual Adelaide Bentley Community Preservation Award went to Northeast Towson Improvement Association President Nancy Goldring for her innovative work in preserving her historic East Towson neighborhood, including her advocacy for environmental justice and heritage tourism initiatives.

Preservation Alliance’s Preservation Advocate of the Year Award was presented to Maryland State Delegate Cathi Forbes for her tireless work to increase historic preservation funding in Maryland.
