Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County is thrilled and grateful to announce that we have received a grant from Maryland Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020.

With CARES Act funding, Preservation Alliance of Baltimore County/the Baltimore County Historical Trust will be able to continue our work of safeguarding Baltimore County’s historic resources through restoration work, to provide small grants to non-profits and limited-income Senior Citizens homeowners for restoration projects, to be a spokesperson for our historic buildings, and National Register/County Landmark nominations and oversight; in order to increase the number of historic sites that are preserved and protected. This will directly advance our mission of being dedicated to preserving Baltimore County’s unique heritage of buildings, sites, landscapes, towns and neighborhoods.

We, at Preservation Alliance vigorously thank Maryland Humanities, The National Endowment for the Humanities, our Federal Congressional Delegation, our Maryland State Delegates and Senators, and Governor Hogan for their support and generosity.
